Expand the functionality of your USB Type-C laptop with the USB Type-C SOHO Dock from CalDigit. Simply plug the hub into the USB Type-C port on your laptop to add a wide variety of additional connections. This dock can be either bus- or AC-powered and provides USB Type-C Gen 2 data rates of 10 GB/s from three USB Type-C ports for use with high-performance peripherals such as external SSDs.
A pass-through USB Type-C port offers up to 90W of charging power to your laptop. Connect a single compatible display through the additional USB Type-C port for 4K resolution at 60 Hz. You can also connect displays through the HDMI and DisplayPort ports. Featuring both SD and microSD card readers, this dock is ideal for any creative professionals who need access to memory cards while working in the field. The dock comes in a compact form factor, making it easily storable in a laptop bag or backpack, and features an aluminum body that dissipates heat.

Pass-Through Laptop Charging
The beauty of USB Type-C is that it incorporates up to 100W power delivery into its design. This means that when you connect your laptop's USB Type-C charger to the SOHO Dock it will be powering the SOHO Dock and its attached USB devices, in addition to charging your laptop.
The actual power that will be supplied to your laptop will vary based on the wattage of your USB Type-C charger, and how many USB devices are attached to the SOHO Dock.

Detachable Cable
CalDigit added a detachable cable to the USB Type-C SOHO Dock to give users more flexibility. By utilizing a detachable cable, users are able to add longer cables, and if cables are damaged, they can be easily replaced.

The dual SD 4.0 and microSD 4.0 card readers both support UHS-II speeds.
